The Ferroli ECOPUFFER HP100 is a 106-liter vertical buffer tank specifically designed for heating and air conditioning systems (heat pumps). The tank is made of carbon steel (black steel) with an exterior coating of painted sheet metal. It can be wall-mounted or floor-standing (using the included adjustable feet). It features 30 mm thick injected rigid polyurethane foam insulation to minimize heat loss. Thermal performance: 69.8 W heat loss, with an energy efficiency rating of Class C.
Operating limits: permissible temperatures range from 6°C to 95°C, with a maximum pressure of 3 bar. Connections: equipped with six 1½" main hydraulic connections and one top connection (½") for an air vent. Inertial storage: it ensures a minimum volume of water within the circuit, preventing short-cycling of the heat pump (thereby extending its service life). A hydraulic separator (decoupling vessel) that hydraulically separates the primary circuit (heat generator) from the secondary circuit (emitters, such as radiators or underfloor heating), making their flow rates independent of one another.
