The Ferroli ECOUnit HP 500-1C domestic hot water (DHW) storage tank is a high-performance vertical unit with a usable capacity of 444 liters. Specifically designed to meet high hot water demands, the HP (High Performance) version features a coil with a very large heat exchange surface, making it ideal for use with heat pump (air-source) and solar thermal systems. Despite its large storage volume, the unit's outer diameter is less than 800 mm, allowing it to pass through standard doorways during delivery and indoor installation.
Coil heat exchange surface: 5.5 m² (55.2 m coil length), ensuring maximum heat transfer. Material: Carbon steel tank with high-quality enamel/vitrified coating fired at 860°C (compliant with DIN 4753 standards) for optimal water purity and long service life. Comes equipped with a magnesium anode as standard. Includes a built-in 2,000 W electric heating element with a control and safety thermostat. Insulation: 50 mm thick rigid polyurethane, minimizing heat loss (111 W heat loss)
