The Ferroli ECOUnit HP 400 1C is a high-performance vertical domestic hot water (DHW) storage tank with a real capacity of 350 liters. It is specifically designed for use with heat pump systems or solar installations, thanks to its oversized heat exchanger. It holds an Energy Class C rating, featuring 50 mm rigid insulation that effectively minimizes heat loss. It supports a maximum operating pressure of 8 bar and a maximum temperature of 95°C.

It offers a usable volume of 350 liters (the "400" in the product name refers to its overall size class). It features a single-coil heat exchanger with a very large surface area (4.7 m²) and a length of 46.5 meters, optimizing energy transfer from low-temperature sources (such as air-source heat pumps). The tank is made of carbon steel with a high-quality vitrified internal coating (fired at 860°C) and includes reinforced anti-corrosion protection via a magnesium anode. Electric backup: Equipped as standard with a 2,000 W electric backup heating element to ensure hot water production even if the primary source is interrupted.
