The Mitsubishi Electric PCA Inverter air conditioner range expands with new small-capacity systems (starting at 5 kW / 17,000 BTU) and a high-capacity 14 kW system. (The values shown correspond to cooling and heating performance.) A 7-day programmable timer and 24-hour control are now included as standard. The high-performance Inverter cassette series air conditioners and heat pumps from Mitsubishi Electric are designed for residential and commercial applications such as offices, retail spaces, meeting rooms, restaurants, hotels, clubs, gyms, and open-plan areas. Their maximum piping length of 50 meters makes them ideal for high-rise buildings.
The Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (sCOP) of Mitsubishi Electric Inverter air conditioners reaches 4 on some models. This means the system can provide 4 kW of heating while consuming only 1 kW of electricity. This result is achieved through the combination of Mitsubishi Electric's advanced Inverter technology and R32 refrigerant. The cassette design has improved airflow within the unit, and the new design of the high-performance indoor heat exchanger has reduced pressure losses, thus optimizing the fan design for significantly lower noise levels. The air outlet grille has been modified to minimize air splashing onto the ceiling near the vents.
