Panasonic's new Aquarea domestic hot water heat pumps use the natural refrigerant R290. With a wide operating temperature range of -7 to +43 °C (outdoor temperatures) and a hot water temperature of up to 65 °C (149 °F) without an electric heating element, these units are suitable for a wide range of applications. They also feature an intuitive control unit (with a touchscreen). The models with two heat exchangers are compatible with additional heat sources (e.g., a photovoltaic system).
These domestic hot water heat pumps offer a particularly efficient solution, ideal for single-family homes. Available with a 200- or 260-liter storage tank, they adapt to all housing configurations. Thanks to their compact floor-standing design, the heat pump is easy to install and saves space.
A major advantage lies in its maintenance-friendly design: the sacrificial magnesium anode, which provides corrosion protection, is accessible without disassembly, saving both time and money. Furthermore, an integrated disinfection program ensures safe drinking water.
