AroTHERM plus is Vaillant's new monobloc heat pump using natural R290 refrigerant. It anticipates the requirements of the European Fgas directive, which requires a reduction in the use of climate-damaging refrigerant gases. It is an innovative, environmentally friendly, and rapid solution for future technological developments. Thanks to its very low GWP of 0.02, the natural refrigerant used in AroTHERM plus is highly sustainable, with a refrigerant gas that is less harmful to the climate.

AroTHERM plus also offers maximum energy efficiency in terms of heating, rated A+++, and is ideal for meeting the minimum requirements for new builds, as well as for renovations thanks to high-temperature regulations, allowing efficient heating even at terminals. High temperatures are correctly sized or verified. The aroTHERM plus can be installed as a stand-alone system, in combination with the compact uniTOWER plus indoor system with an integrated 190-liter bowl, or with the VWZ MEH 97/6 wall-mounted module for increased water consumption and in combination with a larger 200-liter bowl.

The aroTHERM plus is designed for quick and easy installation. Thanks to its patent-free Fgas monobloc technology, and in combination with the uniTOWER, it is easy to install (only one gear is required for two installers). Cleaning is simple and intuitive thanks to the new sensoCOMFORT control unit, which guides you through the installation and configuration of the system. In addition to the sensoNET accessory gateway, you can control your own system remotely via the free app available for all iOS and Android smartphones.

The SoundSafe system ensures quiet operation in the dark. In silent mode, the sound pressure level at 3 meters of the THERM plus 5 kW is only 28 dB(A), a level comparable to that of a laptop fan.

AroTHERM plus offers optimal performance: a set temperature of 75°C to 65°C at -10°C outdoor temperature, abundant hot water (up to 6°C with UniTOWER), and an anti-legionella cycle without additional heating. It is the ideal solution for replacing old LPG/gasoline water heaters.

This product is designed and tested for a minimum lifespan of 15 years. For example, to prevent corrosion, the evaporator is coated with a special BlueFin coating and the fabric has a self-polishing nano-coating. AroTHERM plus is certified for installation in areas where the cost of metal is too high for corrosion.
