The CONTROLGUT pump control unit automatically starts and stops the water pump depending on the user's opening and closing. This ensures constant pressure in the domestic water system. In the event of a water shortage, a "dry-running" protection is activated, allowing the pump to shut down. The pump control unit eliminates the effect of "water hammer" (an overpressure wave that is created in the plumbing).
This is a hydraulic phenomenon resulting from the inertia of a column of fluid moving within a pipe. The CONTROLGUT electronic controller for electric pumps consists of a hydraulic part and electronics, interchangeable and also available as a spare part.
