AI Air can be controlled via a remote control or LG ThinQ.
AI Air is available in cooling and heating modes.
When using AI Air, the fan speed and airflow direction automatically adjust according to the situation, and AI Air turns off when the airflow direction is changed.
Before using AI Air, it is recommended to take a photo of the room with LG ThinQ or define the position of the air conditioner and the room occupants.
When AI Air is running, AI detects the occupant's position and automatically activates direct/indirect airflow.
AI detects up to 5 m away, but the detection distance may vary depending on the product's installation and usage environment.
This feature can be enabled or disabled via the remote control or LG ThinQ. The occupancy sensor only works in cooling and heating modes.
The occupancy sensor detects people up to a distance of 5 meters. Depending on usage conditions, the sensor's detection range may be reduced.
The occupancy detection time can be set from 20 to 120 minutes via LG ThinQ (20 minutes by default).
In Soft Air mode, the lower louver air outlet is closed, while the front diffuser air outlet provides indirect airflow.
This function is only available in cooling mode.
In AI Air mode, the Soft Air function activates automatically based on the room temperature.
To use only the Soft Air function, you can activate it manually with the remote control or LG ThinQ.
The airflow temperature can only be adjusted on LG ThinQ in Soft Air mode, not AI Air mode.
In Soft Air mode only, the minimum adjustable room temperature is 24°C.
